In Damnatio Memoriae

Cass "Rhodane! Where have you been!? A messenger from Ambassador Crocker was urgently looking for you. He gave me this note. It's a warning! Your life is in danger! Men are trying to find and kill you!"
Rhodane"What? Who is looking for me?"
Cass "The wrath of Caesar has finally caught up with us. It seems that for aiding and abetting the Legion's enemies, you have been declared *in damnatio memoriae* - an enemy of the Legion in perpetuity. Ambassador Crocker thinks that many will seek your head as a trophy. Fanatics, mercenaries and other low-life scum will rise up to the task to get your scalp."
Rhodane"Thanks a lot for that, Cass... But why now?"
Cass "The Legion has spies everywhere. If you work against its interests, you will be marked as an enemy."
Rhodane "I know that. But what did I do since breaking up the Khan alliance that pissed them off like that? Hmm. The Omertas. I wondered why the NCR wanted me to investigate them. Their plans did oppose the NCR after all. Which means that Caesar was backing them. And I guess that weapons stockpile would have been used for providing some kind of distraction on the Strip. So when Caesar gives the word the Omertas were going to launch an all out assault on the Strip. Most likely starting with the embassy first. Big Sal and Nero wanted to run the Strip bad."
Cass "Surely, Mr. House would say a thing or two about that."
Rhodane "They thought that it will teach Not-At-Home what can go on while he sits in his fucking ivory tower lording down from on high. And don't forget, Caesar wanted me to take out Mr. House before the show started."
Cass "Well, I'll be damned."
Rhodane "No, I'm the one fucked here. Caesar remembers me personally after that scene with Benny. He won't hold back now."
Cass "So, what are you going to do?"
Rhodane "I have to disappear. For a while at least. I need to find a place where I can lie low."
Cass "Here in New Vegas? Or somewhere else in the Mojave wasteland? With Legion assassins looking for you?"
Rhodane "What are you saying?"
Cass "You have to leave this place for a few weeks. Two months would be even better. And I know just the guy who could help you out."
Rhodane "Who?"
Cass "Old friend of mine from the Happy Trails Caravan Company. Ask for Jed Masterson at the Northern Passage. He is organizing an expedition into Utah, off the Long 15, and they need people. They are heading through Zion on the way to New Canaan. Caesar's Legion won't find you there."
Rhodane "Ok, Cass. I'll start packing..."


This is partly new dialogue not found in the game. I was looking for some transition scene for the Honest Hearts DLC.
